Nutrition coaching…

Prior to working with Katie I just wasn’t motivated to eat the way I knew I should have been. I was in a rut and needed guidance. I also had no clue about balancing macros and understanding how that could benefit my health and weight loss goals. Katie helped me understand the importance of more protein and fiber in my diet—the ideas of new things to try and meals to eat were very helpful. Katie helped me make better choices when eating out and stay accountable for my alcohol consumption on the weekends. I have lost 16 pounds and 18 total inches!! I went down a whole pant size and my tops fit me so much better now. I feel so much better! My confidence is coming back and I have been sleeping better too. My focus on making good choices is becoming easier. Getting enough fiber and protein and not being afraid of carbs are valuable strategies I have learned! I have enjoyed the accountability mostly, but the honest guidance I have gotten has been wonderful. Katie kept me from getting discouraged when I had a tough week or didn’t see as much progress change as I wanted on specific weeks. She encouraged me to stay the course and it is paying off!

I was trying to lose weight with limited success and needed accountability. I was tired of trying on my own and was ready to just give up. Accountability is huge. The feedback on what I eat and how to improve my diet, though, has been the most impactful. I’ve lost over 10 pounds and several inches. I also don’t feel as tired and my joints don’t ache as much. I feel more in control of my health and that’s so empowering! My mindfulness around food is definitely improved and I really think about what I’m eating and choices I’m making. Learning how to put healthy strategies into practice is something I’ve really enjoyed about the nutrition coaching experience. The accountability and feedback really helps me stay motivated.

Accountability and support…

For me, being able to throw on workout clothes and go in the basement for a 30-45 minute workout makes it accessible. Without that, I probably wouldn’t workout as much. The other piece is being in the accountability group where I check in each day after my workout. It’s really important to me to have the support of others to keep me in check and build friendships. Katie is invested in her clients, gives us lots of resources, especially nutrition related, makes recommendations, answers questions, has fun monthly challenges and daily posts that all help us achieve our goals. Katie makes me feel valued and important. In addition to the daily group check ins, I get texts from her once a month or so to catch up and see if I need anything. She checks in on me if somethings going on with myself or my family. If there is a new workout coming out she thinks I’d like she lets me know. If there’s a sale that month I could benefit from she lets me know. She is always emailing recipes and tips. There is an abundance of resources in the accountability group to keep me on track. I can tell she has a genuine interest in me and my success and I in hers.

After baby number 2, I decided to get back to taking care of me. I know that this time really helps me be the best mama and caregiver I can be. Building a Business…
